Nxt (cryptocurrency)

Nxt is an open‑source cryptocurrency and blockchain platform launched in November 2013 by the anonymous software developer BCNext. It uses proof‑of‑stake for consensus (no mining) and was designed as a flexible platform for building applications and financial services, featuring an integrated asset exchange, messaging system, and the ability to create and manage assets and other blockchain‑based services.
